Group discounts are available for one-day and multi-day, foreign and domestic, nostalgia, MRT Express and Candlelight Express trips organized by MÁV Rail Tours.MRT Rail Club
For every 11 tickets purchased at the same time, a 12th passenger can travel free of charge. In the case of a mixed ticket purchase (if there are adult and a children in the group), the person using the free ticket can be the passenger using the lower-priced ticket type. Combining individual bookings are not permitted.

Become a member of the MRT Rail Club and in addition to wonderful memories, collect unique stamps for your trips so that you can take part in our trips at a discounted price later!
- Redeem your registered, numbered Rail Club Passport for a one-time fee of HUF 1,000.
- Take part in as many MÁV Rail Tours trips as possible.
- Bring your Rail Club Passport with you on each trip and ask for your stamp from the guide.
- Collect at least 5 stamps and travel half price on a one-day domestic or one-day experience train trip of your choice.
Hungary Card discounts can only be used for one-day trips aoperated by MÁV Rail Tours Kft. It does not apply to optional programs, surcharges, other fees and multi-day trips. When purchasing a ticket, please present the Hungary Card plastic card to our colleague, who will credit the discount to your booking.Hungary Card Basic:
- 1x25% discount on the price of the ticket for the Standard car class of the MRT Express trains for a maximum of 2 people,
- 1x10% discount on the price of a third class car ticket for nostalgia trains for up to 2 people,
- 1x10% discount on the price of the participation fee for dinner trains for up to 2 people.
- 2x25% discount on the price of the ticket for the Standard car class of the MRT Express experience trains for a maximum of 2 people,
- 2x10% discount on the price of a third class car ticket for nostalgia trains for up to 2 people,
- 2x10% discount on the price of the participation fee for dinner trains for up to 2 people.
